Status and self-worth are very much related. But, satus is very hard to pin-point to a certain group of people. We have the ever aparent "social class" which is mostly based on money and power . Then on the younger side of things we have the " clicks" in high school. But, these clicks and social standing, i dont believe, are what give people there self-worth. With-in those diffrent groups ther is standing, or specific roles, and based on a role a person might find self-worth. But, everyone wants to feel needed in the world; so, to say that satus is what gives people their self-worth is a liltle to general. It is the idea or thought that one is needed that gives a person the relief that they DO have worth. So society is not the stick that tells us weather we have self-worth it is the stick that divides us into groups and classes. With-in those classes we get our self-worth from the role we play. So my question is .... should we be put in those diffrent classes? I believe to spread the good news of JC we should bridge the classes, but not brake. because i think god put those classes in place to add order. Because if we didnt have classes or groups there would be to many leaders and to many fights.
